The League of Dreams provides all individuals, regardless of their physical or mental capacities, the opportunity to experience the joy, challenges, and personal growth of playing the All-American games of baseball and softball.

The "League of Dreams Day" with the Bowie Baysox Summer, 2006.
Benefits of the League of Dreams
- Provides Baseball and Softball opportunities to individuals who would otherwise be incapable of playing in "traditional" leagues.
- Increase physical fitness levels of individuals who lead a low-impact lifestyle - either bound to a wheelchair or hindered by leg braces, crutches, or canes.
- Development of self-esteem and confidence. There's no greater feeling for your child to "hit one out of the park" or score the winning run.
- Family and Parent involvement in their child's activities. You'd be surprised what you learn about your children after seeing them play for the first time.
- Increase self-awareness, team play, and camaraderie while playing on a team of their peers.
- Enhance physical and mental abilities - watch as your children amaze you at their capabilities when it's something "they" want to do.
